The Knightdale Chamber of Commerce
Teacher
Excellence Award
(TEA) was presented to Pamala Tew, a 6th grade language arts teacher
at East Wake Academy, during the April Business After Hours hosted
by Berkshire Park Apartments. Ms Tew said "Thank you for this
wonderful recognition. I feel that my greatest accomplishment as a
teacher is to know that each June when my students walk out of my
door I will have provided them with the skills they need to be
independent thinkers, respectful individuals who are open to others'
viewpoints, and advocates for their own learning." Ms. Tew was
presented with a $100 gift card and plaque from the Chamber and TEA
co-host Berkshire Park Apartments.
