Q: Why Choose East Wake Academy?
A. East Wake Academy strives to deliver the most
outstanding college prep curriculum to our students in order for them to achieve
success in their futures beyond EWA.
Q: Are there any registration fees or tuition?
A: No. East Wake Academy is a public charter school. Our
school is funded by tax money, the way that regular public schools are. The only
costs to you are for school clothes and school supplies - just like you would
have at any other public school.
Q: What grades do you offer?
A: We offer Kindergarten through twelfth grade. We
are truly a family school, meaning that all of your school-aged children may attend
the same school, at the same time. No more running from different schools to drop off and pick up your children.
Q: Do I have to live in Wake County to attend your
school?
A:
No, Charter schools are
open to any student.
Q: What do students do for lunch?
A: Students at EWA bring their lunch to school or
their are hot lunch days. Juniors and Seniors are able to go off campus during
their lunch time.
Q: What about transportation?
A: Students and parents must provide their own
transportation to and from school.
Q: What are the School Hours?
A: The Elementary School hours are from 8:30am to
2:30pm. Middle and High School hours are from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Students are not
allowed in the Elementary buildings until 8:05am and the Middle and High
buildings until 7:45am.
