National Honor Society Ms. Jackson
National Honor Society is a club for scholarly students who show affluence in the areas of scholarship , leadership, service, and charter. They must maintain a GPA of 3.4 during membership. They are also required to participate in a certain number of hours of service.

Students government Association's main goal is to create a positive atmosphere in and around the school to make EWA a place where students enjoy themselves and feel like they are  part of the school. SGA gives students the opportunity to get involved and feel like they can make a opportunity. SGA also provides students with activities in and out of school, where the students have the opportunity to have fun while being leaders here at East Wake Academy.

Writers Cafe' is an opportunity for aspiring writers and poets to share their creations with other students. It is also a chance for students who need assistance with writing projects to receive that help.

EWA Singers

 Being a member of the EWA Singers Club is a new opportunity and privilege. The members of this 8th -12th grade choral group are making history as the first Upper School performing musical group ever at EWA. Our present focus is to build a quality-singing group and enhance our sound. We represent EWA to parents, teachers, and our community by offering a variety of musical genres in our performances. Our motto is "One Spirit, One Voice, Amen!"

 

EWA Singers will meet every Thursday afternoon at 3:15pm

EWA Step Team

By using a combination of beats, chants, and movements, the lady eagles show a different side of school pride to students. We use stepping to express the pride we have in our school in a new and entertaining way. Our step team has one goal in mind, and that is lifting and edifying our school.

 

Golf Club

The cost of Golf Club is $6. Must have own golf clubs and own golf bag to participate. Open to High School and Middle School boys and girls

Golf Club will meet every Wednesday at the Zebulon Country Club from 3:30pm to 6pm

Hospitality Club

The main goal of Hospitality Club is to promote an attitude of welcome and kindness at EWA. Students serve teachers, staff, and their peers in service activities such as tutoring and campus upkeep. We strive to make EWA a friendly place, where no one is left out!

Hospitality Club will meet every other Monday starting August 25th

Student Against Destructive Decision

The main goal of SADD is to encourage positive peer pressure and adopt the "no-use" lifestyle against destructive behavior, by empowering students in their communities to deal with issues in an affirmative manner and stress the concept of Celebrating Life.

SADD will meet the 2nd Wednesday of the Month from 11:15 to 11:55
