Music Class Supply List- Mrs. Rothra

General Supplies needed immediately and throughout the year:

Colored Paper – colored copy paper and cardstock paper

Pencils (not from the dollar store, please)

Cap Erasers

Whiteboard Markers

Paper Towels

Kleenex

Baby Wipes

Please speak to Mrs. Rothra about specific needs in the music room.

THIRD AND FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS ONLY:

Each third and fourth grade student must have their own recorder.  It is in your child’s best interest for them to have their own so we don’t accidentally spread germs, so they can practice at home, and so we all sound exactly alike when we play as a group.

Recorders can be purchased from Mrs. Rothra for $5.00 (cash or checks payable to EWA) at the beginning of the school year.  Please do not buy one from Wal-Mart or the dollar store as these recorders break easily, sound terrible, and could have lead in them.  The recorders available from me are high quality instruments used by musicians in professional groups.  Each recorder comes in a nice zippered leather case.

FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS ONLY:

Each fourth grade student will need one pocket folder to keep in class – students can pick whatever color or design they want.  These are the folders with two flap pockets in the inside and are about 9 x 12” in size.
