We hope you are doing well and continuing to make it through as we are trying to shape our new normal. We have finally been able to closeout grades and will finish transcripts early this week. You will also notice that the parent portal in PowerSchool has closed. We do this each summer as we work behind the scenes to get next year’s information ready to go. The State will also be running EOY metrics over the next few weeks. We will let you know when the Parent Portal reopens in July.
Lighting the Way Forward: NC Guidebook for Reopening Schools was released this week. We are already working on our plans and will be reaching out to families over the next few weeks for planning feedback. The guidelines provided did not answer all of the unknowns but did put them in a more helpful "framework." The big date looming out in the future is JULY 1, and this is the date the Governor will announce which plan schools can use to open. As you are watching the news, you see the number of COVID 19 cases increasing in NC. This metric is not a good sign for schools, and we hope that the curve begins to flatten again soon!
New Student ZOOM – we are holding a ZOOM call on Wednesday morning for our new parents. We want to make sure they are feeling welcome and to keep them in the loop!

The following was information shared on June 10. The chart with carpool numbers for remaining bags has not been updated since June 10. So, if you came on June 11 and picked up, your number may still appear. Tuesday, June 16, is the last pick up day.
Student Personal Item Bags: We still have a few student bags on campus that were not picked up on June 3. We have listed the carpool numbers in the chart below. Please review the table below, and if you see your carpool number, your child has a bag. Bags are available for pickup between 9:00 am and noon on Thursday, June 11, or Tuesday, June 16. All items not picked up will be donated after June 16.
