Good Morning Senior Academy!

Happy Birthday to Mr. Gay who will celebrate his birthday tomorrow on December 5th!

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

Non EOC exams and EOC Testing schedule is included. 

  • Non-EOC exams (December 10th and 11th) are on-line only and students will not be on campus.
  • EOC/CTE testing (December 14th-18th) will be ON CAMPUS
    • Enter the campus by Industrial Drive ONLY, between 8:15am -8:45am so students can be screened prior to exiting their automobile. 
    • Student drivers will not exit their vehicles until they have been screened.
    • Once screened, students will enter the Senior Academy building ONLY through the main entrance. 
    • Please refer to the “Fall 2020 Exam and Testing Schedule” for individual testing dates and times. Remember to be on time for testing and picking up your student once testing is complete. 
    • WINGS will not be available.
    • Face coverings are required for all students, teachers and staff. 
    • Students will not be required to wear school uniforms when they come on campus for testing, December 14th-18th.

December 17, 2020 after 12:00 noon: Driver Eligibility Certificate, and Transcripts will not be available to be picked up until school is back in session after Track out, January 11, 2021. Please reach out to Mrs. Campbell for an appointment or further information for DEC’s.  Driver’s Education information for Driver Eligibility forms, Permits and Licenses can be found on our Senior Academy website, under “Driver’s Education”.

    • (quote needs to be a complete sentence. Not one word or two. It must be appropriate to run in the yearbook. Be prepared for another quote if Mrs. Coward feels your quote is not appropriate)

Records Request for Students:  We understand that some families will explore other educational opportunities for their child, and we support that right. Please let us know what you may need for your exploration, and we will help. But be advised: (By Law) if East Wake Academy receives a formal record request from another school for your child, that child will be withdrawn from East Wake Academy for the following school year (2021 - 2022). East Wake Academy's receipt of the request is final and out of our hands legally. Please be in contact with Mrs. Campbell so she can help you. "Attention any 9th-12th grade athlete who is interested in trying out for High School basketball or cheerleading. Please make sure you have a completed and up to date tryout packet ready to turn in by December 7th. Visit our athletic website (goewaeagles.org) and click the files/link tab to find the full tryout packet.  Scan your completed packet and email to Coach Eason (ceason@eastwakeacademy.org) or bring with you to your first tryout date.

*Please make sure you have a mask to wear during your time on campus.
