Good Morning Senior Academy!
SCHOOL SCHEDULE UPDATE:
The week of January 11-15 - Remote only for all students.
HS PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
This is a general email sent to everyone that is currently enrolled at EWA. Our re-enrollment process is complete, and everyone that is receiving this email has completed re-enrollment for the 2021 – 2022 school year. This email is for parents of EWA students that have siblings not enrolled in EWA at this time.
East Wake Academy's Lottery Application for the 2021 - 2022 school year will begin January 11, 2021, at 8:00 am and end on February 11, 2021, at noon. This applies to any SIBLINGS of current students and the General Public.
Please go to www.eastwakeacademy.org and click on the "Lottery Link" on the home page or the Admissions page. On March 10, 2021, the lottery will take place at 9:00 am in the Eagle Hall in the High School. You will receive an email within 45 minutes of the lottery, letting you know whether you got in and what the next steps will be for you to complete. If waitlisted (not all SIBLINGS are guaranteed admission – you are guaranteed priority in the lottery. Admission is based on open space.), you will receive an email letting you know what number you are on the waitlist. Please KEEP this email as you can check this for updates at any time. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kim Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.
Records Request for Students: We understand that some families will explore other educational opportunities for their child, and we support that right. Please let us know what you may need for your exploration, and we will help. But be advised: (By Law) if East Wake Academy receives a formal record request from another school for your child, that child will be withdrawn from East Wake Academy for the following school year (2021 - 2022). East Wake Academy's receipt of the request is final and out of our hands legally. Please be in contact with Mrs. Campbell so she can help you. SPORTS:
Attention any 9th-12th grade athlete who is interested in trying out for High School Men's Soccer . Please make sure you have a completed and up to date tryout packet ready to turn in by January 11th. Visit our athletic website (goewaeagles.org) and click the files/link tab to find the full tryout packet. Scan your completed packet and email to Coach Eason (ceason@eastwakeacademy.org) or bring with you to your first tryout date.
*Mask must be worn at all times.

Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball team. They were conference co-champions finishing the season at 9-1. They begin State playoffs round 1 TODAY. Please wish our girls the best of luck!
