Good Morning Senior Academy

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

HIP HOP TEAM: Auditions for next year's Hip Hop Team will be next Thursday, April 20th from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the high school dance room. The team will consist of 9th-12th graders, so current 8th graders may audition for next year's team!

In honor of Autism Awareness month, beginning today through the end of the month Student Council will be accepting donations for our Pie in the Face Fundraiser to help raise money for a local Autism Awareness group.

If you would like to see your favorite teacher get pied in the face by a member of the student council, come to the half circle at lunch. 

Every dollar donated for the teacher you choose will get a vote to be pied in the face on April 28th. The top 3 teachers with the most money donated in their name will be pied and ANY teacher who has over $150 total donated will receive a $25 amazon gift card, even if they are not in the top 3!

100% of all the money donated will go to a local Autism Awareness group.


If you have been accepted to a university and or college, and if you have received a scholarship, please email Mrs. Ray at dray@eastwakeacademy.org today.

Driver Ed Virtual Summer Class offered: Summer registration starts April 10th.  A combined class for several local school students, June 12th - 16th,   Parents are encouraged to register through the Franklin Academy tab.   • May 18th & 19th - Teacher Made Final Exams

  • May 22nd though 25th - End of Course/Career & Technical Exams (EOCs & CTEs)

  • May 29th - No School - Memorial Day

  • May 31st  - Graduation - @ 7 pm -  Raleigh Memorial Auditorium


Senior Prom!: Tickets for the Senior/Junior Prom are $65/person. Mrs. Cyrus & Mrs. E Massey will be selling tickets during lunch Monday- Thursday, beginning on Tuesday, 4/11 through Thursday, May 5th. If you are not on campus during lunch please see Mrs. Cyrus or Mrs. E Massey to purchase tickets Non EWA guests need a form to attend this event. These forms can be picked up from Mrs. Cyrus or Mrs. E. Massey.

EWA NEWS: 

April 15th - NHS sponsored Red Cross: The National Honors Society is hosting a blood drive at the EWA high school parking lot from 10 am - 3 pm.  .  We would love your participation to raise money for the EWA Dance Program and EWA National Art Society.  * *Must be 16 or older to donate blood, if you are 16 years old you must provide written parental consent. You must be at least 110 pounds.* *
