May 22nd though 25th - End of Course/Career & Technical Exams (EOCs & CTEs)
May 25 - Varsity Athletic Banquet - at 6:00
May 29th - No School - Memorial Day
May 31st - Graduation - @ 7 pm - Raleigh Memorial Auditorium
Yearbooks for sale in the HS office are $65.00ea. Cash or check. (Please make out checks to East Wake Academy.)
FORM REQUESTS: **Driver Eligibility forms and Transcripts:
Driver Eligibility forms (Must have completed Drivers Ed class and behind the wheel): Make an appointment with Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org
Transcripts: Please email Mrs. Ray dray@eastwakeacademy.org for Transcript requests. Payment is required on PAYPAL for Graduates.
Trackout - Drivers Eligibility Form and Transcript: Make an appointment by 12:00 noon on June 1st for a Driver Eligibility form or Transcript. These forms will not be available to be picked up after June 1st until school is back in session after Summer Track out (unless you reach out to Mrs. Campbell by email).
During the Summer Break: Please reach out by email to Mrs. Campbell for an appointment or further information: Reminder: Due to Summer Break schedule allow 2 weeks, for Drivers Eligibility paperwork to be processed.
· Students should have completed:
o the driver’s education class,
o driving portion
· made an appointment at a DVM in order to receive a Driver's Eligibility form.
A Parent/Guardian will need to set up an appointment with Mrs. Campbell by email at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org to fill out, sign and pick up the student’s Drivers Eligibility Form after making an appointment at DMV.

SPORTS:
Our High School Athletic Awards Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, May 25th at 6:00. In order to reserve your spot, please complete this RESERVATION FORM as soon as possible. Each athlete may invite TWO guests. Athletes receive a FREE ticket but GUEST TICKETS are $20 each. Once you've filled-out your reservation form, please send the payment for your guest tickets in a sealed envelope (Cash or Checks payable to EWA Boosters). Please clearly label the envelope with your athlete's name. Students can drop off their payment envelopes to the HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE. All payments are due by Thursday, May 18th.
Mon-
Golf Championship- Students will be out all day
Women's Soccer- Dismissal at 2:30 game at 4pm at Wendell Park
Tues-
Golf Championship- Students will be out all day
Baseball- Game at 7pm at Chatham Charter *bus will leave campus at 4pm* (more info later, waiting on approval)
EXAMS and HS Tests:
We want to make sure that everyone is clear on the following:
Teacher Made Exams (TME) - are final exams made by the teacher (in some cases may be a final project).
End-of-Course (EOC) Exams - are final exams that are state regulated and mandated.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Exams - are final exams that are state regulated and mandated.
All final exams/projects count for 20% of the student's final grade. Students must be present and in uniform attire on exam days. If a student does not have an EOC or CTE test, their last day of school is Friday, May 19th, 2023.

Students are only to attend school, after Friday, May 19th, 2023, if they have a EOC or CTE. Students must arrive by 8:00am and be in uniform as EOC testing begins promptly at 8:30am. All students must be picked up from school by 12:30pm.

May 22-26 Testing: 8:15 – 12:15 - These tests are State mandated– students must take these tests in order to receive credit for the course! All other students are not required to attend school during State testing.
Monday, May 22: English II EOC & Accounting CTE
Tuesday, May 23: Math 1 EOC / Math 3 EOC
Wednesday, May 24: Biology EOC
Thursday, May 25: All Make-up testing
