Good Morning Senior Academy
STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
Immunizations
State law regarding immunizations applies to all students regardless of enrollment, however, Twelfth grade students' vaccinations will be verified.There are specific vaccine requirements for the 12th grade. A copy of the vaccine record (ideally a copy from the physician office) which verifies these vaccines MUST be submitted within 30 days of school. Per state law, if a copy of the record is not submitted then the student will be prohibited from attending school until this has been done.
Senior Meeting: August 3rd, 10:45 Eagle Hall - ALL Seniors need to be present.
JOSTENS:
- Seniors - Josten will be on campus 8/23 at 8:30 to talk about Graduation Apparel, etc.
- Juniors - Josten will be on campus 8/23 at 9:00 to talk about Rings.
Jostens order day is August 30th during lunch.
Lockers: Information about Locker assignments will be coming out soon.
2024 Senior Academy International Trip: Senior Academy is going to Portugal and Spain in Summer 2024 and your student is invited! Come hear all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities and the cost of our trip at our upcoming informational meeting on August 10 at 6:30 PM. FALL DRIVER ED Class (September 25-29): Please use this link https://www.wake.jordandrivered.com/services.phtml/east_wake_academy to register for the Fall Drivers Ed Class hosted at East Wake Academy’s HS Eagle Hall. The class will cap at 38 students. Registration will start today and end on August 16th.
EWA News:
My Hot Lunchbox does not begin until Monday Aug. 7th. HS Families please plan accordingly since we will not accept food vendors this year.

CLUBS:
"Student Council will be having an interest meeting TODAY 7/31 in Mr. Raynor's room during lunch. If you are interested in joining you must attend one of the two meetings in order to receive an application."
Gaming Club will begin our meeting schedule beginning TODAY at lunch. The Gaming Club meets every week on Mondays and Thursdays at lunch and afterschool until 5:30 on Thursdays.
SPORTS:
Fall Sports tryouts will be July 31 and August 1st. Please make sure that you have turned in your tryout packet Tryout Packet to Coach Bowman by Friday July 28th if you are planning on trying out for sports. Coach Bowman will give you a tryout ticket and you will give it to your coach on tryout day. See information on times and locations below.
Coed Cross Country:
Meet on the lower field behind trailer 5. Tryouts from 4-5:30
Volleyball:
Meet in Gym 5:30-7:30
Women’s Golf:
