Good Morning Senior Academy
STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
Immunizations
State law regarding immunizations applies to all students regardless of enrollment, however, Twelfth grade students' vaccinations will be verified.There are specific vaccine requirements for the 12th grade. A copy of the vaccine record (ideally a copy from the physician office) which verifies these vaccines MUST be submitted within 30 days of school. Per state law, if a copy of the record is not submitted then the student will be prohibited from attending school until this has been done.
Senior Meeting: August 3rd, 10:45 Eagle Hall - ALL Seniors need to be present.
JOSTENS:
Seniors - Josten will be on campus 8/23 at 8:30 to talk about Graduation Apparel, etc.
Juniors - Josten will be on campus 8/23 at 9:00 to talk about Rings.
Jostens order day is August 30th during lunch.
Lockers: Locker assignments have been posted.
2024 Senior Academy International Trip: Senior Academy is going to Portugal and Spain in Summer 2024 and your student is invited! Come hear all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities and the cost of our trip at our upcoming informational meeting on August 10 at 6:30 PM. FALL DRIVER ED Class (September 25-29): Please use this link https://www.wake.jordandrivered.com/services.phtml/east_wake_academy to register for the Fall Drivers Ed Class hosted at East Wake Academy’s HS Eagle Hall. The class will cap at 38 students. Registration will start today and end on August 16th.
Lost and Found for High School is now housed in the HS office. If you know students are missing items, please come to the office before 1st period to inquire. (Items found include: Belt, Lunch box, ear ring, money, ring.)
EWA News:
My Hot Lunchbox does not begin until Monday Aug. 7th. HS Families please plan accordingly since we will not accept food vendors this year.

CLUBS:
Attention Club Advisors, please send to the office updates to your Club’s new year schedule. If you are not going to continue you club this year, please email Mrs. Ray By Wednesday 8/2.
Hip Hop Team will meet tomorrow, Thursday, after school from 3:20-4:15 in Mrs. Cyrus' room. Please dress out immediately after 4th period and report to Mrs. Cyrus.
