Good Morning Senior Academy

CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to Samantha Creech  on her acceptance to Campbell University.  Seniors if you have been accepted and or have received scholarships please forward your information to Mrs. Ray. 


STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

October 17th -  All 10th graders will take the PreACT - students will remain in 1st period

                          during the test (PreAct letter)

October 18th - Makeup pictures (Fall yearbook and Tux/Drape)

November 10th - Veterans Day - No School

November 17th - Fall Dance Concert 7 pm - Louisburg College

November 20th - November 24th - Thanksgiving Break

November 28th - FAFSA Night - 6 pm

December 7th - December 8th - Final Teacher-Made Exams

December 11th - December 15th - End of Course Exams (EOCs)

Lost and Found for High School is now housed in the HS office. If you know students are missing items, please visit the website at https://ewalostandfound.weebly.com/ or come to the office before 1st period to inquire.


CLUBS:

Attention Book Club: We will meet at lunch this Friday, October 13, to discuss Girl Waits with a Gun. Be sure to bring your book and your lunch to room 211 to chat! 

NAHS would normally meet Wednesday, but our next meeting will be officers only at lunch October 18th and an all members meeting October 18th after school from 3:15- 4:15 in Mrs. Wade's Room.

The National Honor Society is hosting Powderpuff next Wednesday, October 18th at 6 pm. The deadline to sign up is TODAY, October 11th. There will not be a First Priority meeting this Thursday. Meetings will resume for second quarter next Thursday, October 19th.

FBLA will have a mandatory meeting THIS Friday October 13 at lunch in Warren's room!!  If you are planning to test or attend the Regional Competition and Conference in December you will need to attend this meeting!  


SPORTS:

Congratulations to the JV volleyball team on their 2 set win over conference rival Falls Lake last night.  Way to go Ladies!

Girls Basketball Workouts will be Saturday 10/14 and 10/21 from 12-2pm. Email Coach Bowman with any questions you may have.

"Winter Sports tryouts will be held October 23 and 24th. If you are interested in trying out for cheer or basketball, please make sure you have your up-to-date sports physical before the tryout date. If you haven't turned in a tryout packet this year, please make sure that you submit one to Coach Bowman by 10/20, no exceptions. If you need an updated physical, OrthoNC does walk-in physicals for $10."
