Re-Enrollment for the 2024 - 2025 School Year
It is almost Re-Enrollment time. Re-enrollment for the 2024 - 2025 school year begins November 6th at 8 am and ends November 17th at noon. Everyone should already have a Parent Portal setup. This is the only way to get into the Powerschool Re-Enrollment System. The Re-enrollment can only be completed through PowerSchool and only if you have a Parent Portal (username and password). Please contact Mrs. Campbell, TODAY, if you cannot access the PowerSchool Parent Portal (kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org). Again, the deadline for Re-enrollment is November 17th at noon. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. If you do not complete the Re-Enrollment by the deadline; you will have to apply in January for the Lottery. If you know you will not be returning, please let Kim Campbell know as soon as possible (kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org).
Once on the Parent Portal in PowerSchool, you will scroll down on the left hand side of the screen and see Registration 24 - 25. Click here and do the Re-Enrollment.
Records Request for Students:
We understand that some families will explore other educational opportunities for their child, and we are ok with that process. Please let us know what you may need for your exploration and we will help. But be advised: if East Wake Academy receives a records request from another school for your child, that child will be withdrawn from East Wake Academy for the following school year (2024 - 2025). East Wake Academy's receipt of the request is final and out of our hands legally. Please be in contact with Mrs. Campbell so she can help you. Mrs. Campbell can be reached at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org
It has come to our attention that some local restaurants including major chains have started outsourcing all of their deliveries through third-party vendors. If your student's class is having an event or special day, please make plans to either deliver the item(s) yourself or either double-check to make sure the company handles their own deliveries. All third-party vendors such as Doordash, GrubHub, etc. will be turned around and the order will not be received.
Please do not drop off students on campus in the morning before carpool. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:40, please utilize the morning WINGS service.
Middle School carpool in the afternoon does not begin until 3:15. If you arrive earlier you will be asked to go to the back of the line. Students are in class until their release time of 3:15.
Students,
During carpool, you are to be seated in your classroom watching the screen for your carpool number to come up. Students are not to be in the hallways, standing up within the classroom, but waiting for your number to be displayed. Parents are not to arrive before 3:20. Students are to only be dismissed by your teacher to head to carpool when you both see your number come up. Any students seen at carpool without permission or prior to release time will face disciplinary action. Thank you for following the rules that have been in place for your safety.

**When athletes have away games please initial the roster located outside of the Middle School entrance. Do NOT enter the Middle School office.**
