Good Morning Senior Academy

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

Parents + Students: Check out the EWA Student Services website to stay up to date on scholarships, community service opportunities and other important information you may need throughout the year. 

December 7th - December 8th - Final Teacher-Made Exams

December 11th - December 15th - End of Course Exams (EOCs) 


EWA NEWS: 

Thursday, 12/7, we will be the Annual Shop With A Cop Dress Down Day. This is different from the PAL Dress Down Days. For our Shop with a Cop dress down, a donation of any amount will allow students to dress down on that day. Students can pay it in the front office with Ms. Ray.

Lost and Found: Lost and found is updated on the website. https://ewalostandfound.weebly.com/ 

Lost and Found for Senior Academy is now housed in the HS office. If you know students are missing items, please send them down to look BEFORE SCHOOL/HOMEROOM or DURING LUNCH. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of this semester.


CLUBS:

FBLA will be collecting new socks for our Regional Conference Sock Drive. We will deliver the socks on Saturday Dec 9 and they will be sent to local shelters. Please donate to any FBLA member or Mrs Warren. 

First Priority meets every Thursday in the Baker Center during lunch. Anyone is welcome, and we would love to see you there!

"Student Council will be selling bags of candy starting next week on Monday, December 4th, until supplies run out. 1 bag can be purchased at lunch for $3 or 2 bags can be purchased for $5. 3 varieties of bags will be available.

All profit goes towards funds for your Homecoming Dance on February 9th!"

For the month of November, the Senior Academy First Priority is hosting a school-wide canned food drive! Donation boxes are located near the front of each building. All donations will be given to the Raleigh Dream Center at the end of the month.

Attention Book Club: Stop by room 211 to pick up The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith for our Friday, January 5, Book Club meeting. 

The Cancer Awareness Club is collecting toy donations for pediatric cancer patients through Mon, Dec 11th. Please see the flyer and wrapped box outside the front office for more information.

Did you enjoy the first annual Powder Puff game? If so, the Cancer Awareness Club is giving you another opportunity to show your athletic skills in a charity Volley-Bros tournament during February's Spirit Week. Sign-ups are first come, first served. See the club's Instagram page or Mrs. Lane for details.
