Good Morning Senior Academy.
STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
Congratulations to Sally Ishikawa on being selected by the NC Department of Public Instruction to attend Governor's School, a four-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses.
EWA is heading to the Mudcats game on April 24! This is going to be a great field trip to enjoy with our entire EWA community! The game will begin at 11:00 and tickets are $7 each. Parking is $4 and will be prepaid only. General concessions will be available for purchase that day, and there is also an option to order a box lunch for $9. Please complete the form at https://bit.ly/2024EWAMudcatsDay for each child who attends EWA, regardless of whether they are attending the field trip. More information about the trip is included in the form. Forms and payment at My School Bucks are due no later than Thursday, March 7 Tomorrow.
Inspire Arts & Language Expo: “The HS language, dance and art classes will be hosting their annual event, INSPIRE this Thursday from 6-8pm. There will be vendors, activity booths, performances and countless art pieces on display! Come enjoy the arts, support local small business, and participate in the fun.”
"STEM classes are in need of building materials for upcoming projects. There will be a donation box set up at Inspire for anyone to donate clean, recyclable materials such as cardboard, styrofoam, and plastic containers that can be used to design, build, and test solutions to STEM challenges. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Broadwell or Ms. Haynes."
Ms. Shearin will be sending out scheduling information today for the 2024 - 2025 school year via email. Please be sure to check your email and sign up for a scheduling meeting. Scheduling will begin when we return from track out from March 27 - April 19.

Senior Slideshow Request: Calling all Seniors and their families, 2024 Seniors need to send in photos for the Senior Slideshow. These photos can have two people but preferably three students or more in them. We want each student to be represented in the slideshow. These photos can be in school or outside school. Please send the photos to ewaseniors@eastwakeacademy.org
We would love the photos to span from Kindergarten all the way through this year.

Hola Todos! Spanish club is selling Pulsera bracelets and bags this week at the half circle. All proceeds go to the people who make the bracelets, stop by the half circle to learn more.
Attention Book Club: Please stop by room 211 to pick up our next book, The Guest List. We will meet to discuss the book on Friday, April 5.
First Priority meets every Thursday in the Baker Center during lunch. Anyone is welcome, and we would love to see you there!
