EWA News

Week of February 2, 2020:  Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early Spring and it is going to be in the '70s this week. There is nothing like winter in NC! We are kicking off week five!  This is the halfway point for the quarter, so continue to work hard.  Our next break will be a long weekend February 14 – 18!

We are starting to hit those "dog days" in the semester.  Everyone is tired and/or sick.  Please continue to show our staff all the support and gratitude you can.  Please say thank you or send a shoutout to say thanks.  It is truly the little things that make a difference. Take a minute to watch this video!

Please take the time to come out and support our Eagles as basketball season comes to an end.  Also, be on the lookout for Spring sports tryouts!

Please see the attached letter from Sami Dove, our Health Office Nurse, about the flu and other sickness on campus.  Please remember to be mindful of classmates and staff if your child is sick and/or has a fever, please stay home!

This week is School Counseling Week! Let's give a shoutout to Mrs. Naftel and Mrs. Newman. We want to use this week to recognize our school counselors for their complex roles here at EWA but to also bring awareness to the supports they offer to our students, staff, and parents. Please take the time to say thank you!
