STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

Lost and Found: High school lost items can be found in the plastic tote right outside the HS office.  Students can come down BEFORE and AFTER SCHOOL or DURING LUNCH. All unclaimed items in the High School will be donated after September 22nd. Gym lost and found will be in a container in the dining hall. Building 5/WINGS lost items will be in a container at the desk by the front entrance.  Items lost in the main building will be located right outside the office. 

Driver Eligibility Forms - this is the form your student receives after they have completed the class and driving portion.  The last day to receive the Driver Eligibility Form before track-out is Wednesday, September 24th by noon.  A PARENT will need to email Mrs. Campbell and set up a time to come in and sign the form.  The turnaround time is 48 hours.  Mrs. Campbell's email is kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org. Let her know if you have any questions.

SENIORS:The Wake County Schools College Fair will be held at the McKimmon Center at NC State. Sunday, September 21st.

Fair Name: WAKE COUNTY SCHOOLS FAIR

Fair Time:  1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Fair Location: NC State University – McKimmon Center

Address: 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, NC 27606


Notes: Parking is available in front of the McKimmon Center or in front of the Joyner Visitor Center.


Scholarships

The Gates Scholarship application is due September 15.  Link to application.

Eligibility requirements:

  • A high school senior

  • Pell-eligible

  • A US citizen or permanent resident

  • In a good academic standing with a min. cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.


Driver’s Ed class: Drivers Ed Fall Class scheduled for October 6-10, 2025, Times:  2:30-8:30 pm. Registration will open Today September 9, 2025 (11:30am) https://jordandriving.com/east-wake-academy/


YEARBOOK Order: Attention parents and students! Please order your yearbooks now while they are at the lowest price of the year. visit jostens.com/yearbooks If you order between now and Oct. 17, the yearbook price is $60. If you order personalization, you can receive four free icons for the cover

If you wait until the end of the school year, the price increases to $80 so please order now!

SPORTS:

Varsity Softball interest meeting will be held on Friday, September 19 at 11:30 am. We will meet briefly at the flagpole outside the K4 building. If you’re interested in playing in the spring, please attend!
