Quote of the Day
Each year, National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15, by honoring the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
Each day a member from the Spanish Club will read a quote from an influential Hispanic. Be sure to check out the posters around school to learn more about Hispanic students at our own school and celebrate them!
Today’s quote comes from the Hispanic artist Frida Kahlo - who is best known for her self-portraits and depictions of Mexican culture and society through her art. Frida once said
“Al final del día, podemos soportar mucho más de lo que pensamos”
At the end of the day, we can endure much more than what we think we can.
