  Quote of the Day

Each year, National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15, by honoring the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.

Today’s quote comes from Antonio Tijerino, a proud immigrant from Nicaragua who is president and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, a national nonprofit focused on education, workforce, social impact and culture, through the lens of leadership.

He once said, “No tienes suerte de estar aquí. El mundo necesita tu perspectiva. Tienen suerte de tenerte”

"You are not lucky to be here. The world needs your perspective. They are lucky to have you."
