Good Morning Senior Academy.
This week's Green Fact from the Green Club:
“Close to 8 million metric tons of plastic goes into the ocean per year. This is the equivalent of dumping about 800 thousand dump truck loads of plastic into our oceans annually, making plastic one of the largest and most dangerous pollutants on Earth!"

Nov. 13 - Fall Dance Concert - Louisburg College

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
'Our Character Trait of the Month: Kindness. We’d like to start recognizing all the great character traits you all show each and every day. For the month of October, our focus is on kindness. If you see a peer doing something kind, scan one of the purple QR codes posted around school to nominate them today!'
" Spirit Week will begin on Monday November 3rd and end with a Pep Rally on November 7th. Your days are as follows:
Monday November 3rd- Brain Rot Day
Tuesday November 4th- Twin Day/ Group Day
Wednesday November 5th- PJ Day
Thursday November 6th- Theme Day Versus
- Freshman theme is Minions
- Sophomore theme is Superheros
- Junior theme is 101 Dalmatians
- Senior theme is Holidays
Friday November 7th- Color Wars
- Freshman will wear Pink
- Sophomores will wear Blue
- Juniors will wear Red
- Seniors will wear Black
There will be a letter with specific guidelines and examples sent home next week. For any questions, please email Mrs. Jones or Mr. Raynor"

If you are a Wake Tech CCP student or would like to take CCP classes at Wake Tech next semester, Spring enrollment forms are now available. Current Wake Tech CCP students will need to complete the continuing student enrollment form to be eligible to register for classes starting on November 4. New Wake Tech CCP students will need to fill out the application at this link.

SPORTS:
High School Basketball Tryouts: All students must have a completed and up-to-date tryout packet as well as an up-to-date physical on file in order to participate. These forms should be turned into Coach Bowman. If you are unable to schedule a physical with your primary care physician before tryouts, you may visit Ortho NC in Knightdale, which offers walk-in sports physicals.
