Good Morning Senior Academy.
CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to our Inspire Artists who placed last night.
Third place goes Austyn Lowery for her mixed media piece, “I don’t know”
Second place goes to Selena Shirey for her painting, "Maria"
and First place goes to Kyla Boone for her painting, "The Lion and The Lamb".
Our Alumni winner is Miranda Halterman for, "King of the Pirates!"

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
DMV Forms: Parents please plan accordingly. Driver Eligibility forms will not be given out after March 12th at 2:45 pm. None will be given out over Spring Break. If you need a Driver Eligibility form, please email Mrs. Campbell prior to March 12th. Forms have a turnaround time of 48 hours. To receive the DMV form, your student needs to be passing 2 out of the 4 classes they are taking and completed the driving and class portion prior to March 12th. YEARBOOK Senior Ads - Attention senior parents: there is still time to purchase an ad in the yearbook to celebrate your senior. Deadline is March 11th. There are two steps: first, visit Jostens.com and purchase your ad. Next, make the ad yourself or email the photos and information to Kelly.Ramsey@jostens.com
SENIORS:
Cap/Gown and any other graduation items can be picked up by Seniors on March 10, 11, and 12 during lunch 11:15 - 12:15 in the lobby outside Mrs. Ray's area. Seniors or parents will need to pick up their own items. If you have any questions about pick up, please reach out to Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.
“It's almost time for our Spring Dance Concert at Louisburg College on April 9th at 7 PM. Come support the dance department and see all the amazing work our dancers have been preparing. Tickets are available now through MySchoolBucks, or you can pay with cash at the door. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students. Staff and children ages 4 and under get in free. The Green Club brings you this fact: Did you know that US states and other regions of the world have banned plastic straws?
"Community Service Club is sponsoring another blood drive this year. The blood drive is on Friday, March 13 from 1:00-5:30 in the Eagle Hall. If you are 16 years of age or older, we would love for you to donate blood to save a life. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Nettles in the Baker Center"
Unity Club's next meeting will be Tuesday 3/31 at lunch in Keene's office. This is not our normal meeting day - we usually meet on the first and third monday of the month. But due to track out/Easter weekend, we will not have another meeting until mid April if we follow that schedule. That being said, our next Unity Club meeting is 3/31 at lunch in Keene's office.
SPORTS:
We will be having Winter Volleyball workouts starting March 10th from 3:45-5pm. Please make sure you have an updated physical on file. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Coach Cooke or Coach Bowman.
