SENIORS
Mrs. Ray needs your help to make the yearbook one to remember. Please send a baby photo, a casual photo, and your senior quote to yearbook@eastwakeacademy.org (NOT to Mrs. Ray!) as soon as possible.
Baby photo - a photo of you as an infant or toddler, preferably by yourself.
Casual photo - a casual photo of yourself from the past year. This photo should be of ONLY you, and should not be from a distance.
Senior quote - Choose a quotation that represents you as a mature high school senior. Do not choose inside jokes or quotations with inappropriate verbiage. Your quotation may be denied.
DMV forms - Driver Eligibility Forms will not be available after Thursday, September 24th at noon.
No forms will be given out over Track-Out. Please make sure you email Mrs. Campbell prior to the date if you are in need of this form for your student. The student must have completed the driving portion before receiving the form and a parent has to come in and sign the form.
The Red Cross blood drive will be on Friday, September 25th. If you are 16 or older, please consider donating. You can go to the Red Cross website and search EWA to find our drive. If you have more questions please see Mrs. Nettles.
If you are a Senior athlete, you may be eligible for the EWA Booster Scholarship. If you're interested in applying, please complete this interest form. After completing the form, an EWA Booster board member will share the application with you. If you have any questions, please reach out to Crystal Dixon (cdixon@eastwakeacademy.org).
Students - unless you have a work from home pass or are scheduled late arrival or early release - you must sign in or out at the office if you leave- even if you are a driver.
**Mrs. Harris also needs an email from a parent if you will be signing yourself out. Her email address is aharris@eastwakeacademy.org
If you have a work from home pass, you do not need to sign in or out unless you are tardy to your next on-campus class.
Parents - when signing out your students at the end of the day, if you sign your child out before 2:30 pm, be aware that it will count as an unexcused absence for that class period (unless sick or with a doctor's note).
