Today is Sports Day. Can't wait to see which team or sport you are representing. Tomorrow is Rhyme without a Reason Day. Don't forget to get your picture taken today.
*If a student does not dress for the daily theme, it is expected that a uniform be worn or a dress code violation can be incurred. We want everyone to dress up to show EWA pride however this is not a free dress down pass.

First Priority for 7th/8th graders will meet this Wednesday, October 21st during lunch in Miss Ludlum’s room. If you ever asked yourself the question, “who am I”, then we invite you to join us as we explore the questions “who am I” and “who does God say I am”. Please do not bring heat up food, and we are excited to have you join us. If you have any questions, please talk to one of our student leaders, Meredith Batchelor, Emerson Irwin, Gabe Yoneoka, Collin Elliot, Cole Cutchins, Briley Williams, Camden Cocker, and Paul Fuentes. Or talk to our club advisors Miss Ludlum and Mrs Watt.
Any 6th-8th-grade boy interested in trying out for basketball, there will be an interest meeting in the Dining Hall at 12:00 on Thursday, 10/21. Do not bring your lunch as this meeting will be brief. If you cannot attend, please see Coach T before tryouts.

Middle Academy Events
Important Upcoming Announcement: Re-Enrollment for 2027–2028
Mark Your Calendars! Re-Enrollment Opens November 2!
Re-enrollment for the 2027–2028 school year will take place November 2–13, with a firm deadline of midnight on November 13.
ALL current EWA students must complete re-enrollment to update their information and confirm their return for the next school year.
IMPORTANT: Students who are not re-enrolled by the November 13 deadline will lose their seat at EWA and must apply through the January lottery, with no guarantee of readmission.
Don't miss this important deadline! Be prepared to complete your student's re-enrollment during the designated window to secure their seat for the 2027–2028 school year.
Please do not drop off students on campus in the morning before carpool. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:40, please utilize the morning WINGS service.
Middle School carpool in the afternoon does not begin until 3:15. If you arrive earlier you will be asked to go to the back of the line. Students are in class until their release time of 3:15.
Students, during carpool you are to be seated in your classroom watching the screen for your carpool number to come up. Students are not to be in the hallways, standing up within the classroom, but waiting for your number to be displayed. Parents are not to arrive before 3:20. Students are to only be dismissed by your teacher to head to carpool when you both see your number come up. Any students seen at carpool without permission or prior to release time will face disciplinary action. Thank you for following the rules that have been in place for your safety.
Middle Academy Sports
When athletes have away games please initial the roster located outside of the Middle School entrance. Do NOT enter the Middle School office unless checking out another student that is not playing sports.
When there is a home game, students need to be picked up during carpool and brought back to school for the game. Students may not linger after school.
If your student needs to stay after school before a game starts, they must go to WINGS. Students should be registered for WINGS online. An email must be sent to a WINGS teacher giving students permission to attend the sports event/game. An email must be sent each time or for each game/event.
Once students leave WINGS they need to be picked up at the game and are no longer the responsibility of WINGS. Please contact Lisa Davis at ldavis@eastwakeacademy.org for additional information.
Students are NOT to leave for sports while in transition to the next class. They may exit at the time of dismissal for that game day.
