Weather Announcement for East Wake Academy (Thursday, 3/18/2021)
East Wake Academy has been following weather updates for the past several days. Our area is in a Level 4 Risk for Severe Storm warning for Thursday. Weather professionals are predicting high winds, severe thunderstorms, hail, and possible tornados. Based on current information, EWA will be operating on a remote learning schedule for Thursday, March 18, 2021. Each HOUSE will provide schedule information through your child's teacher.
We know that it is hard to decide to go full remote just based on the forecast, but we also understand that our students, families, and staff safety is our highest priority. Please be careful and keep each other safe.
Friday will continue to be our regular remote day and the end of the nine weeks. We begin our Spring track out Friday afternoon.
