CONGRATULATIONS:

Eilis Thomas will be attending Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts Fall 2021.  She's been accepted into the Behavioral Neuroscience Program and granted a 4-year Northeastern University Grant Scholarship covering 90% of her total final tuition.

SENIORS:

Seniors, If you ordered announcements they are ready to be picked up from Mrs. Campbell Monday - Thursday 8:30 to 2:45 each day.  Please email Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy, if you have any questions. 

Upcoming Events:

PROM - May 21, 2021 at the Fairfield in Raleigh, NC 8pm-Midnight:

Prom tickets will be on sale for seniors only April 19th thru April 23rd on myschoolbucks. After April 23rd, tickets will be sold to juniors on a first come first serve basis if capacity allows.   The link to myschoolbucks is also on our school website.  Prom tickets are $60 per person.  The prom night Covid-waiver form AND a guest form are provided in Morning Announcements attached documents.  You can either pick up these forms from the front office or print them from the attached forms and turn in to Mrs. Ray (emailed at dray@eastwakeacademy.org).

ALL Forms due - by May 14th 

  • Each student must have the Covid-waiver filled out in order to attend the prom. 
  • Non EWA guests must also have BOTH FORMS filled out in order to attend. 

Prom tickets are non-refundable.  Students will have to maintain social distance and wear a mask while attending the prom. This includes while on the dance floor.


HS PARENTS/GUARDIANS: 

There will be an online zoom interest meeting for our Summer 2022 EF tour to England TODAY Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. via Zoom! It is the perfect time now to start planning for a trip of a lifetime and we look forward to finally be offering these trips again as things slowly return to normal. Records Request for Students: 

We understand that some families will explore other educational opportunities for their child, and we support that right. Please let us know what you may need for your exploration, and we will help. But be advised: (By Law) if East Wake Academy receives a formal record request from another school for your child, that child will be withdrawn from East Wake Academy for the following school year (2021 - 2022). East Wake Academy's receipt of the request is final and out of our hands legally. Please be in contact with Mrs. Campbell so she can help you. Congrats to the Varsity Girls Golf team on winning back to back regular season conference championships. The girls look to repeat as the NCAC conference tournament champions next Monday at Zebulon CC.
