CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to Brian Etheridge on his acceptances to Wingate University with $120,000 collective scholarships, and to Chowan University with a $20,000 scholarship

SENIORS:

Senior Parents, make sure you purchase your Senior's Cap and Gown package from Jostens by November 1st.  This will ensure it gets here before Graduation.  Go to www.jostens.com to order online.  You are required to purchase the Cap, Gown, Tassel and EWA Stole. Senior's cannot use previous graduates Cap and Gown.  If you have any questions, please contact Jostens at 919-789-8500 or jubal.stagner.office@jostens.com.

FBLA Regional Conference forms are due to Mrs Warren by Friday Oct 22 at 3pm!  These permission forms/contracts were given out at the last meeting and can also be found on the FBLA google classroom.  This form can also be turned in digitally and emailed to Mrs Warren. You MUST turn in this form to be eligible to attend OR compete at Regionals in December!  Please check google classroom for any other announcements this week! 

SPORTS:

Congrats to the Varsity Girls Golf team. Yesterday they finished third in the region and will head to Long Lead country club Monday and Tuesday to participate in the state championship match. Way to go girls!

The EWA ladies’ volleyball team fought hard against Falls Lake Academy in the second round of the conference tournament and came home with the WIN! Today, the team will head to Durham to face NCSSM to fight for first place in the tournament! Keep up the great work, ladies!

Come out and support the Men's soccer team for their Senior Night against North Carolina School of Science and Math on Wednesday, October 20th. The game starts at Wendell Park at 4 pm. We look forward to seeing you all out there!

"Attention all Winter Athletes, 9th-12th grade, who are interested in trying out for High School Cheer, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball. Please make sure you have a completed an up to date tryout packet ready by your tryout date below.  The completed packet can be emailed to Coach Eason (ceason@eastwakeacademy.org) or given to your coach on day one of tryouts.  This must be submitted to attend. Visit our athletic website (goewaeagles.org) and click the files/link tab to find the full tryout packet."
