Student Absences

If a student is absent due to a quarantine, they are marked present remotely. Initially on PowerSchool it will show unexcused but will be changed in the office within a week. Only the homeroom class will be adjusted. Please refrain from emailing Ms. Moore about the unexcused absence. If they are quarantined, it will be adjusted. Since students are marked present remotely, the following expectations are now in place effective 08/23/21.

Students in quarantine are expected to visit each classroom's Google Classroom for assignments for the day. Students are to complete the assignments posted by 11:59pm for full credit for the day. The only exception to this would be those who are physically ill to the point that they are unable to complete work. Parents must communicate with teachers if this is the case.

We believe that by establishing this expectation students can stay on the course with their classrooms and not have so much makeup work to complete when they return to campus.

You can check our lost and found website at ewalostandfound.weebly.com

No students are to be dropped off or picked up at building 5. Any student reported will receive disciplinary action.

6th-8th graders interested in trying out for cheer, please come to Mrs. Blackwell's room for an interest meeting on Thursday, October 28th during lunch. We will discuss what will be happening at tryouts and what will be required when and if you make the team.

FBLA will meet in Warren's room this Thursday Oct 28 at lunch - please bring all lunch materials with you!

Want some tips on how to do spirit week on a budget? Here is a video from your MASC members with some ideas. LINK Please watch this with your class!

Today is Future Day

We can’t wait to see all of your future ideas and outfits. Be sure to get your picture taken by the MASC members during homeroom or lunch. Teachers, don’t forget to count your participants.

Tomorrow is Sports Day

Sports day is the time to show your pride in your favorite sports team or dress as an athlete of your choice. I challenge you to wear more than just a T-shirt. Add face paint, hats, scarfs, foam fingers, etc.

Do not wear cleats as these can damage the floors.

Don’t forget the best dressed for the week will have a chance at King and Queen for their grade level.

Also, the grade with the highest participation will win the spirit stick!

There will not be a MASC lunch meeting Wednesday 10/27. Please plan to attend regular lunch as usual.

There will not be a MASC workday after school Thursday 10/28. Be sure to check google classroom for updates.
