Good Morning Senior Academy
Students please return back to 1st period today for SMART BLOCK

Please take a few moments to read the letter Dec 2021 letter to parents
provided to all families. It covers:
- 2022-2023 Registration
- ACT testing
- CCP info sessions
- Mid year transcripts for Seniors (these will be uploaded to Common App upon our return in Jan)

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
Any student who has books belonging to Mrs. J. Massey, please return those books to her as soon as possible to be reshelved in her library so that others can check them out.
SPORTS:
"Attention all Spring Athletes, 9th-12th grade, who are interested in trying out for High School Baseball, Men's Golf, Softball, or Women's Soccer. Please make sure you have a completed and up to date tryout packet ready by your tryout date below. The completed packet can be emailed to Coach Eason (ceason@eastwakeacademy.org) or given to your coach on day one of tryouts. This must be submitted to attend. Visit our athletic website (goewaeagles.org) and click the files/link tab to find the full tryout packet."

- Men's Golf @ Zebulon CC, 4:00-6:00 pm (2/17-2/18)
- Softball @ Pilot Lions Park, 4:00-6:00 pm (2/14-2/15)
- Women's Soccer @ Bailey-Middlesex Park, 4:00-6:00 pm (2/14-2/15)

"Softball workouts will start on Thursday 1/13/22 from 3:40-4:30 in the weight room. All interested in trying out for the team are encouraged and welcome to come"

There will be a Diversity Club Meeting on Monday in the Baker Center during lunch!

Reminders:
- Make sure that your child wears a face mask to school every day and that they practice wearing it properly during the school day.
- Students must adhere to the dress code provided by the school (see attached).
- Please communicate with your child's teachers if you have immediate questions or concerns with their classes. They are willing to help and bring clarity to any of your classroom concerns.
