Good Morning Senior Academy

CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to Destiny Evans, she was selected as EWA's nomination for the State Employees Credit Union Nominee for the People Helping People ($10,000) Scholarship.

Congratulations to our 15 new members of the National Honor Society inducted yesterday!

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

Reminder from the EWA Dress Code: Students may not display a pierced body part including facial other than ears for young ladies (this includes nose rings). Band-Aids will not be permitted to cover body piercings. Tattoos should not be visible and cannot be covered with Band-Aids or makeup.

Sweet Food Truck (Magnificent Concessions) TODAY Friday during lunch 11:40-12:15. Menu is posted.  – No extended lunch

Mini College Fair -in the Commons Area @ Wed Mar 9, 2022 11:30am - 12:15pm. (Visiting schools: UNC-Asheville, UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Greensboro, East Carolina University, University of South Carolina)

Calling all Students, Families, Clubs, Alumni, staff and teachers, 

You may be aware, before Track-out our dear Mr. Wiggins will be retiring. 

We need your help to pull together a Memory Box gift for Mr. Widdin’s retirement

(containing pictures, well-wishing letters, thank you note, etc...to fill it up)

Send in your items to Mrs. Ray in the HS office by Monday, March 14th.

Seniors, if you ordered announcements, etc. they are in. Please stop by Mrs. Campbell's office anytime after 8 am and pick up your items.  Thank you.


SPORTS:

Friday 3/4

Baseball vs. Voyager Academy (Pilot Park), 5:30 pm start


CLUBS:

Spanish club will be hosting a Gift Basket raffle at the 1/2 circle during lunch Wednesday - Friday of this week. Prizes include visa gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, a hydroflask and more! All proceeds will help our club with donations to our local Hispanic communities at the end of the year. Tickets are $1 for our small basket and $3 for our large basket. 

There will be a Diversity Club Meeting in the Baker Center on Monday during lunch. All are welcome!!

First Priority:  Thursdays, Baker Center, Lunch.


HS FAMILIES:

Dress Down Day is Thursday March 10th. HS Collection is Tuesday and Wednesday of next week at the Half circle in Eagle Hall from 7:45-8:15. No money will be accepted on Thursday.
