STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
If you have not purchased prom tickets, it's not too late! We will be selling tickets until Wednesday, May 11th. Please note, Prom will be 8:00pm-12:00am on Thursday, May 12th. We apologize for the confusion.
Attention Juniors and Seniors, May 12th is a school day and the High School Awards Ceremony is scheduled for that morning from 9am until 11am. Juniors and Seniors attending the Prom will be allowed to sign out after the awards ceremony. Please keep in mind that Prom is a school event and to attend Prom you are required to be present at school that day. Friday, May 13th there is no school for students.
Exams and testing schedule is posted.
SPORTS:
“Congratulations to the baseball team for defeating Neuse Charter 9-0 in the first round of the state playoffs. Austin Brown lead the way on the mound with a career high 12 strikeouts. Owen Schmidt was 3-3 at the plate with a home run. The team will play in the second round on Friday.”
“Congrats to the Varsity Mens Golf team. Monday and Tuesday they traveled to Long Leaf to compete for the State Championship. The EWA Eagles finished 6th in the state brining their season to a close! Great job Eagles!

Parents/Athletes, We are very excited to be hosting our high school athletic banquet again this school year. Each athlete will be able to bring two guests. To register your guest you must fill out the following link (Banquet Guest Form ). Boosters and our local sponsors will be paying for each athlete's meal. All guests will be $20 a plate. To prepay for your food please visit myschoolbucks.com and find the tab for "High School Athletic Banquet".

When: May 26th
Time: Doors will open at 6:00 pm/Food service will begin at 6:30 pm/Awards at 7:00 pm
Attire: Formal
HS FAMILIES:
HS Awards are this Thursday starting 9:00 sharp. Teachers should have already reached out to families if their student will be receiving an award.
Drivers Eligibility Form: Make an appointment by 12:00 noon on June 3rd for a Driver Eligibility form. These forms will not be available to be pick up after June 3rd until school is back in session after Summer Track out (unless you reach out to Mrs. Campbell by email).
During the Summer Break: Please reach out by email to Mrs. Campbell for an appointment or further information: Reminder: Due to Summer Break schedule allow 2 weeks, for Drivers Eligibility paperwork to be processed.
- Students should have completed:
- the driver’s education class,
- driving portion
- made an appointment at a DVM in order to receive a Drivers Eligibility form.
A Parent/Guardian will need to set up an appointment with Mrs. Campbell by email at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org to fill out, sign and pick up the student’s Drivers Eligibility Form after making an appointment at DMV.
