MASC would like to have an after school party on Wednesday 5/25 in room 216 from 3:45 to 5:15 in order to acknowledge the hard work of student council this school year.
SPOTLIGHT ON Middle Academy Staff
This week’s staff spotlights are Mrs. Pope, Ms. Haynes , and
Mrs. Dixon.
Mrs. Pope is one of our awesome coaches. She received her education from Mount Olive, Meredith & WVU. Some of her favorites are pineapples, strawberries, and chocolate. She especially loves a Reese Fast Break candy bar! She loves to shop at TJ Maxx, Kohls, and Target. In her spare time she enjoys catching up on shows with her husband, wedding things, and playing on the farm.
Ms. Haynes is our 8th grade Math teacher. This is her first year with us and the students have really enjoyed having her. She enjoys popcorn, Snickers, watermelon and iced coffee. In her spare time she simply likes to mindlessly scroll through TikTok.
Mrs. Casey Dixon is our 8th grade Science teacher. She is new to us this year and the students have adjusted well to her methods of teaching. She graduated from Barton College. She likes popcorn, Kit Kats, and oranges. Her favorite drink is Pepsi. In her spare time she enjoys watching Disney movies with her kids.

Drop and Pick Up No students are to be dropped off or picked up at building 5. Any student reported will receive disciplinary action.
Middle Academy Events
Parents/Athletes,
We are very excited to be hosting our middle school athletic award ceremony again this school year. Each athlete will be able to bring two guests. To register your guest you must fill out the following link (MS Awards Guest Form). Boosters and our local sponsors will be providing a dessert bar.
Below you will find important information regarding location, date, and time:

When: May 27th
Time: 6:00-7:30 pm
Attire: Formal
Middle Academy Sports Events
**When athletes have away games please initial the roster located outside of the Middle School entrance. Do NOT enter the Middle School office.**
When there is a home game, students need to be picked up during carpool and brought back to school for the game. Students may not linger after school.
Students are NOT to leave for sports while in transition to the next class. They may exit at the time of dismissal for that game day.
