Week of May 15, 2022
As the weeks count down, we need to stop and realize how lucky we are to be at EWA. Great teachers come to work to teach great kids from great families each day. We often get lost in the day-to-day but looking at the long term allows us to appreciate what we have. We do not always agree or see eye to eye, but we all know EWA is here for KIDS! Thank you for making EWA the choice for your child’s education.
Last week was a huge week. Our sports teams participated in State Playoffs, HS had awards day, PROM, and we welcomed our new Kinders at K Carnival.
We do start testing this week. If your child is testing, please ensure they get plenty of rest and a good breakfast. A truly fantastic start to the day can make a difference! No stress – just positive thoughts and best wishes. All we ask is that they try to do their best.
COVID – we see more community cases, and they are showing up in school. We continue to work with DHHS. With testing and graduation coming over the next few weeks, doing the right thing for yourself and others is even more critical. If your child is having symptoms, please test them! Do not send a student to school if they are sick or presenting with symptoms. Remember that we do provide the test to stay program.
