The EWA Board of Directors is excited to announce the hiring of Anthony Pirrello as our Executive Director effective November 1st.
Anthony brings over 25 years of experience to EWA as a professional educator, working in traditional school districts, charter schools, cyber charter schools and universities. His extensive charter school experience includes 13 years as CEO of two different charter schools.
Anthony holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Advanced Certifications for School Superintendent and Principal K-12. He is married to his wife of 25 years and they have three children.
Anthony's first day with us will be Tuesday, November 1st. Dr. Tom Miller will stay on with us until Thanksgiving as interim Executive Director as we transition the leadership responsibilities to Anthony over the next month. Anthony will assume full Executive Director responsibilities when we return from Thanksgiving break.
The board is very appreciative of the efforts of our principals and Dr. Miller over the past four months. They assumed extra duties and additional responsibilities and we thank them for their work!
We look forward to scheduling a social event in the near future where parents will have an opportunity to meet our new Executive Director.
