Good Morning Senior Academy
STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
Club pictures are this Wednesday Nov. 16th in the K4 Gym - Concession/Dining hall. Club advisors will inform members of the schedule.
Senior Cap and Gown pictures will be taken this Wednesday Nov. 16th in the upstairs counselor's office. These are not required. Seniors interested have been given their scheduled time. If you have not received your time scheduled or would still like to schedule a time please email Mrs. Ray at dray@eastwakeacademy.org this morning.
Attention All Students taking an AP class this semester or next semester, face to face or online!!!!! You must be enrolled in the class through the College Board website and sign up for an exam. The exam order deadline is Tuesday. If you are not enrolled in the class through the college board site, an exam will not be ordered for you. If you need assistance, please see Ms. Barkley ASAP!!
Homecoming dance is this Friday, Nov. 18th from 8 to 12pm. Students are expected to dress in semi formal attire. This means no jeans! Tickets will be available in advance for $5 and at the door for $7. Guest tickets were due on Monday. All grades are allowed to attend and concessions will be free with purchase of a ticket.
Please vote for Homecoming Royalty using the QR Codes around the school. Voting will continue throughout the week and will end before the dance on Friday. Winners will be announced at the dance on Friday. See Mr. Raynor for any questions

EWA NEWS:
Fall Dance Concert is this Thursday, November 17th @ 7:00pm @ Louisburg College
Re-enrollment began November 7th and ends on November 18th at noon. The Re-enrollment can only be completed in PowerSchool and only if you have a Parent Portal username and password set-up. Please contact Mrs. Campbell if you cannot access the PowerSchool Parent Portal (kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org). If you miss the deadline, you will lose your seat at EWA.
Instructions to complete the Re-enrollment:
Login to Powerschool through your Parent Portal.
Once in, look on the left hand side of the screen and scroll until you see Annual Registration. Click the Annual Registration.
From there you will complete the Re-enrollment.
It is best to complete on a computer, other devices may not be able to see all information needed.
If you have more than one student, you will click on each student's name at the top.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs Campbell at the email address above. Please let Mrs. Campbell know if you will not be returning so she can remove you from getting emails regarding Re-Enrollment. Have a wonderful week.
CLUBS:
There will be a ten-minute theatre club meeting in Room 211 at 11:30 TODAY Tuesday, November 15.
FBLA will not meet this month due to regional testing. Our next meeting will be Friday Dec 2 at lunch in Warren's room. If you are attending regionals - please check the google classroom for all information. Mrs Warren will be reaching out to you individually to schedule time to test or work on your performance. Yearbook pictures will be Wednesday Nov 16 at 8:15 in the dining hall.
High School First Priority is hosting a school wide food drive for the month of November. The Raleigh Dream Center is in need of grains and rice but will also accept canned foods, cereals, and pastas. A box will be in the lobby of each EWA house for you to drop off your donated items. As Thanksgiving Day approaches let’s serve others in our community by providing them with a thanksgiving meal.
