Middle Academy Events

Lottery Application Begins January 8th:

This is a general email sent to everyone that is enrolled at EWA. Re-enrollment is complete and everyone that got this email has completed the re-enrollment for 2024 - 2025.  This email is for parents of EWA students that have siblings not enrolled in EWA at this time.

East Wake Academy's Lottery Application for the 2024 - 2025 school year will begin January 8th at 8 am and end on February 15th at noon. This applies to Siblings of current students and General Public.  Please go to www.eastwakeacademy.org and click on the Lottery Link on the Home page or the Admissions page. Lottery Application is online only.  Siblings go through the Lottery also and you must complete the Lottery Application to be included in the Lottery for the 2024 - 2025 school year.  The  Lottery will take place on March 6th at 9 am in the Eagle Hall Senior Academy.  You do not have to be present for the Lottery.  Once the Lottery is over, you will receive an email within 45 minutes of the lottery letting you know whether you got in and what the next steps are.  If waitlisted you will get an email letting you know what number you are and KEEP this email as you can check this for updates at any time.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kim Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.

It has come to our attention that some local restaurants including major chains have started outsourcing all of their deliveries through third-party vendors.  If your student's class is having an event or special day, please make plans to either deliver the item(s) yourself or either double-check to make sure the company handles their own deliveries.  All third-party vendors such as Doordash, GrubHub, etc. will be turned around and the order will not be received.

Please do not drop off students on campus in the morning before carpool. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:40, please utilize the morning WINGS service.

Middle School carpool in the afternoon does not begin until 3:15. If you arrive earlier you will be asked to go to the back of the line. Students are in class until their release time of 3:15.

Students,

During carpool, you are to be seated in your classroom watching the screen for your carpool number to come up. Students are not to be in the hallways, standing up within the classroom, but waiting for your number to be displayed. Parents are not to arrive before 3:20. Students are to only be dismissed by your teacher to head to carpool when you both see your number come up. Any students seen at carpool without permission or prior to release time will face disciplinary action. Thank you for following the rules that have been in place for your safety.

Middle Academy Sports

**When athletes have away games please initial the roster located outside of the Middle School entrance.  Do NOT enter the Middle School office.**

When there is a home game, students need to be picked up during carpool and brought back to school for the game.  Students may not linger after school.

Students are NOT to leave for sports while in transition to the next class.  They may exit at the time of dismissal for that game day.
