SPOTLIGHT ON Middle Academy Staff

This week’s staff spotlights are Mrs. Dixon, Mrs. Collins, and Mrs. Kisko!

Casey Dixon is our 8th grade science teacher who joined us in November. Mrs. Dixon attended Barton College. Her favorite snacks are popcorn and kitkat. She enjoys shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. In her free time she enjoys watching Disney movies with her children.

Rebecca Collins is our 8th grade ELA teacher. She enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Rachel Kisko is one of our exceptional children’s teachers. She attended East Carolina University. Her favorite snacks are pretzels, goldfish, guacamole and chips. In her freetime she enjoys reading, baking, hanging out with husband, family, and friends, game nights with friends.

Please congratulate this phenomenal group of teachers for being a Spotlight on campus!!

Star Students of the Month

Our 8th grade student of the month for February is Aluciano Alston.  Aluciano enters the classroom every time with a positive attitude. He is respectful of teachers, staff, and fellow students. He is a hard worker who stays on task. If something needs attention such as cleaning up something another student knocked over, he does not hesitate to step up and do what is needed. Aluciano, please come to the office to get your picture taken and receive your prize.  Congratulations!
