STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
Spring Dress Down Pictures will be Wednesday (2/16)
This Friday (2/18) and the following Monday (2/21), there will be no school. This is time for you to take a well-deserved break.
More information coming soon: 11th grade ACT testing, March 1st.
SENIORS:
Cap and Gowns have arrived!! If you ordered Announcements or any other "Senior Stuff", it will arrive sometime in April. Mrs. Campbell will have a table for Cap and Gown pick-up on February 15th, 16th and 17th in the HS Main Lobby during Lunch. I will only give Cap and Gown to the designated Senior, unless I get an email stating otherwise. Seniors, it is your responsibility to keep up with your Cap and Gown and accessories. If you lose the Cap and Gown and accessories, you will have to buy another one. I can be reached at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org for any questions or concerns you may have.
SPORTS:
"Congratulations to the Men's varsity basketball team on wrapping up their regular season with a win over Raleigh Charter. The team was led by Tanner Pate (17 points), Greyson Lanphere (12 points), Logan Willaims (11 rebounds). The team finishes the regular season as conference champs for the first time in school history. Congratulations guys!"
Congrats to the Varsity Girls Basketball team. They beat Raleigh Charter today 34-26. The win put them 3rd in the conference heading into the conference tournament, where they will host RTHS on Mon at 6pm.

EWA is excited to continue its partnership with EF to offer once in a lifetime opportunity for travel for our families. - As you may know, East Wake Academy has been approved as a State COVID testing site for our students and staff. We have partnered with MAKO Medical, the State vendor for our area. We are asking that parents pre-register their students in the case of contact tracing. Please know that you will ALWAYS be called prior to your student being tested. - East Wake Academy's Lottery Application for the 2022 - 2023 school year will open January 10, 2022, at 8:00 am and close on February 11, 2022, at noon. This applies to any SIBLINGS of current students and the General Public. Please go to www.eastwakeacademy.org and click on the "Lottery Link" on the home page or the Admissions page (OPENS JANUARY 10, 2022). On March 9, 2022, the lottery will take place at 9:00 am in the Eagle Hall in the High School. You will receive an email within 45 minutes of the lottery, letting you know whether you got in and what the next steps will be for you to complete. If waitlisted (not all SIBLINGS are guaranteed admission – you are guaranteed priority in the lottery. Admission is based on open space.), you will receive an email letting you know what number you are on the waitlist. Please KEEP this email as you can check this for updates at any time.
