CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to Brian Etheridge on his acceptance to St. Andrews University with an offer to play basketball and a total $40,000 scholarship.

The Dodgeball tournament has been canceled.
"Juniors and Seniors, PROM - Tickets for prom can be purchased TODAY through Friday, May 6th during lunch at the half circle! NON EWA Guest forms are located on the EAGLE bulletin board outside of the main office. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Massey or Mrs. Cyrus." Tickets will cost $65.00 each

Teacher Appreciation Reminder: Week of May 2 – May 6: As we prepare for Teacher Appreciation Week- we wanted to share our themed days for those of you who would like to participate. We are also still in need of gift cards or donations for our week-long celebration. Please see below for ways you can help us celebrate our teachers/staff:
1. Donate a gift card- We would love to be able to gift each teacher/staff member with a gift card again this year! You can donate an actual gift card or an e-gift card. Please mark them with Teacher Appreciation on the envelope when you send them in. We will be collecting gift cards from now until April 25. 2. Make a monetary donation on our website at www.eastwakeacademy.org under the GIVING tab or through myschoolbucks.com under the Teacher Appreciation tab. All monies collected will be used to help celebrate teachers!
CLUB:
Spanish club is excited to partner again this year with the Pulsera Project! This organization helps raise funds for indigenous people throughout Guatemala and Nicaragua. Pulseras, woven by local artisans from Central America, will be sold for $5 each this week at lunch. All proceeds will go directly back to the artisans in their communities.
First Priority: Thursdays, Baker Center, Lunch.
