Drivers Education Class Opening: EWA is hosting a Drivers Ed Class this Spring - March 13-17, 2023 Times: 7:30 am – 2 pm in Eagle Hall. Interested Students must be at least 14.5 years of age on or before the first day of class to be eligible to register for any class. SENIOR Scholarships:
The Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center (ECAC) is proud to offer the Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship Award to a North Carolina high school senior with a disability. This award includes a $1,500 scholarship, to be used for any post high school learning experience/training or for equipment/technology needed for employment. Applications will only be accepted through Wednesday, February 1, 2023.Please reach out to Mrs. Davis or Ms. Griswold for more details.

Dress Down: 2-month pass will run Friday, January 13--Friday, February 3 this pass will cover February and March dress down. Visit our website www.ewapal.com - Thursday, we will have our PAL Dress Down Day.
East Wake Academy’s Lottery Application Information:
This is a general message sent to everyone that is currently enrolled at EWA. Our re-enrollment process is complete. This message is for parents of EWA students that have siblings not currently enrolled in EWA at this time.
East Wake Academy's Lottery Application for the 2023 - 2024 school year will open January 9, 2023, at 8:00 am and close on February 10, 2023, at noon. This applies to any SIBLINGS of current students and the General Public.
Please go to www.eastwakeacademy.org and click on the "Lottery Link" on the home page or the Admissions page (OPENS JANUARY 9, 2023). On March 8, 2023, the lottery will take place at 9:00 am in the Eagle Hall in the High School. You will receive an email within 45 minutes of the lottery, letting you know whether you got in and what the next steps will be for you to complete. If waitlisted (not all SIBLINGS are guaranteed admission – you are guaranteed priority in the lottery. Admission is based on open space.), you will receive an email letting you know what number you are on the waitlist. Please KEEP this email as you can check this for updates at any time. CLUBS:
There will be a Feminist Club meeting Monday January 23rd at lunch.
"Art club will meet Tuesday in Mrs. Wade's Room at lunch on tuesday."
"National Art Honor Society will meet on Wednesday at lunch in Mrs. Wade's room. This is both current and new members who have completed the application process by the due date."
"Student Council would like to hear from you! Around the school will be QR Codes that will allow you to submit requests and suggestions for Spirit Week Days and for Pep Rally Games and Events for the upcoming Spirit Week starting today until the end of the week. Please make sure to fill out the form to have a voice for your Spring Spirit Week and Pep Rally!"
FBLA: Due to state competition planning - FBLA will meet the last 3 Fridays in January (Jan 13, 20, & 27) in Warren's room at lunch!!
