The judges from Zebulon Downtown Arts Council have declared the winners of this year’s Spring Fest Art Contest! In K-4 Physical Education, your students recently completed the final fastest class challenge of the year! This is a quarterly competition that tests each student’s physical ability and mental toughness! Each team works together to get the most laps in 5 minutes! For Quarter 4 the Overall winner is: Mrs. Pearce's class with a 16.04 Average! Kindergarten Winner: Mrs. Watt- 13.75 average 1st Grade Winner: Ms. Firmin- 13.52 average 2nd Grade Winner: Mrs. Boone- 13.74 average 3rd Grade Winner: Ms. T Heuts- 14.13 average

1st Grade Earth Day Project - making bird feeders

Students in Mrs. Williams’ Life & Learning classes were able to hear from Nurse Christy, a pharmacist, a fireman, and an early childhood educator this week during their career week.

1st graders were visited by staff from United Community Bank. The students learned about saving, spending, investing, and gifting money. What a fun experience!

Stop by our local Wake County Public Library -Zebulon branch to get an Earth Day 🌎bookmark from East Wake Academy’s 3rd graders! They are colorful and some even include a joke😂

Parents - Since all students will be attending the Mudcats Game on Wednesday 4/24, there will be NO Wings After School Care.

First Grade had a very special group of Mystery Readers right here from our own Senior Academy! Students in Mr. Raynor’s Psychology Class created their own children’s book using concepts they’ve learned in class this year.
