2nd Grade students have been learning about the United States geography. The students were assigned to a different U.S. State in which they did in-class research on. They gathered all of their information and created a display using a shoebox or poster board to teach their classmates about their selected state. After in-class presentations, we invited first graders to come see their creations!

Each day this week Kindergarten is traveling to a different habitat... Ocean, Desert, Grasslands, & Rainforest! Mrs. Hackney is SO artistic and super helpful not only to the teachers, but we see the joy on the kids' faces when they see her beautiful creations!!! :)

Our K-4 academy ended our career week with Career Day. We had volunteer presenters come in and speak about their careers. The presenters created presentations to talk with our students about what they love about their job, what path they took to get there, and tied in character development. We had a variety of careers on campus Friday. It is never too early to start thinking about careers! A special thank you to our donations from Wegmans and Starbucks and our volunteers to make this day possible!

4th grade students recently learned about the importance of bees and other pollinators in our environments. Inspired to protect these vital insects, we planned a Save the Bees Day event for Earth Day. This included hosting local beekeeper and town commissioner, Shannon Baxter for a presentation, honey tasting, and a pollinator garden. Special thanks to Cynthia Evans and Joe Bone for prepping the garden areas; as well as the many parent volunteers for donations and hard work!
