7th grade students dissected frogs and compared their body systems to the human body systems that we have been studying. We’ve decided we have several students who have great potential in health service careers!

7th grade students attended a field trip to the Holocaust Museum in Richmond, Virginia. The teachers were so proud of the behavior and example the students showed during the trip! They were engaged, asked great questions, and showed off their history knowledge. What a way to represent EWA!
Fourth graders enjoyed special visitors, Mr. and Mrs. Baker and Summer the therapy dog! Students learned about comfort, therapy, and service dogs and enjoyed meeting a real therapy dog. Thanks Summer!

If your students came home singing this phrase it’s because yesterday our K4 students participated in an interactive assembly from Dancing Drum! The assembly was centered around character traits like fairness, responsibility, and caring! Students AND staff were up drumming and jamming! What a great way to close out the third quarter!”

Lottery - Tomorrow - 3/6/2024 at 9 am
The Lottery will take place on March 6th at 9 am in the Eagle Hall Senior Academy. You do not have to be present for the Lottery. Once the Lottery is over, you will receive an email within 45 minutes of the lottery letting you know whether you got in and what the next steps are. If waitlisted you will get an email letting you know what number you are and KEEP this email as you can check this for updates at any time. Thanks to an EWA PTA Teacher Grant, students in Mrs. Pace’s Class are now working with words and phonics in game-based play and they are having fun too!
Congratulations to these K-4 students for being our courage character trait winners! We are proud of them for consistently demonstrating bravery and the ability to face difficulty without fear!

There was a false fire alarm in High School today. The Zebulon Fire Department quickly arrived on campus and cleared the building for students to return to class.
