A message from Mrs. Barnhill:
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming up It will be open from Friday, April 21st through Friday, April 28th. The fair will be open to the middle school from 7:45-8:15. Elementary students will be able to shop during specials. The flyer below explains how to create an eWallet for your child. https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/content/fairs/ewallet.html
Taxes will be charged this year(7.25%) I am encouraging parents to use eWallet. If students bring cash they need to have exact change or the coin change will be a donation to the media center to buy more books.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with the book fair - you can sign up at https://bit.ly/3FUBOd3

While students are on track out our Maintenance staff has been working hard! One project has been working in the weight room which meant everything had to be removed from the room! I took this picture today and smiled when I saw the bucket with "Clapp" on it. Tammy Clapp was one of the first K/1 teachers at EWA and I (Mrs. Lloyd) was her Assistant. Hard to believe that this bucket has been around this long! #EWA25

Good afternoon EWA.
As previously mentioned, we had a small fire today in the HS. Fortunately no one was hurt and the damage was contained to the 2nd floor teacher's lounge. All students and staff are now permitted to re-enter the building.
For tomorrow:
- Any personal items left in the school will be secured. First thing tomorrow students may come in and sign for their personal items.
- All classes will run as scheduled
Thank you for your cooperation and a special thank you to the Zebulon Fire Department for their assistance.
