Mrs. Dixon's 8th grade science class completed their first science lab about chemical changes. Students observed the chemical changes that happen when bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and white vinegar are mixed together. Students also blew up a balloon by using the gas that's released from a chemical reaction using basking soda and vinegar.
Lost and Found Updates
Lost and found will no longer be on the website. There will be designated containers in each building including the Gym and WINGS (bldg. 5) to reclaim items. Students can reclaim items BEFORE SCHOOL/HOMEROOM or DURING LUNCH. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of each month.
Please make sure names are on all clothing, lunch boxes, gym bags and water bottles.

2024 BoosterThon Fundraiser
We are excited to announce East Wake Academy will participating in BoosterThon fundraiser for grades K-8 again this year. The week-long fundraiser which will kick-off on Thursday, September 12 and will end with the ever-popular Fun Run and Color Run on September 20. As September 20 is an early release day, these two events will take place in the morning. More details are coming soon, but please mark your calendars for what is sure to be a fun and engaging week at EWA!
