7th grade ELA Novel Projects:
One of my favorite activities each year is sharing my love of literature with students. Students choose their own independent novel at a range of levels and then share their novel with their peers during presentation of a project of their choosing. These projects included minecraft 3D scenes, movie posters, slide show presentations, scrapbooks, graphic novel creations, and so much more! The students definitely "cooked" showing off their skills and I'm hoping they found enjoyment in reading! Here are a few highlights from this week. Mrs. Rusho 7th Grade ELA

🎉 Congrats to Coach T for winning the Bright Ideas grant with his project "In The Zone"! The grant will fund heart rate monitors for PE classes, allowing students to see their heart rate in real time to exercise at the right intensity zones. This tech helps them push themselves safely, understand their bodies, and build healthy habits for life. 🏃♂️💪 #BrightIdeasGrant #InTheZone #PEfitness
