Good evening EWA families.
Due to this evening's Flood Warning, High Wind Advisory and Tornado Watch the January Board Meeting is postponed.
Thank you.

Good evening EWA families.
Tomorrow's forecast for Wake County includes a Flood Watch beginning at 9 am followed by a Wind Advisory beginning at 10 am. Out of an abundance of caution we are cancelling school for tomorrow, January 9, 2024.

This morning in K-4 we recognized these students for being nominated as their class’s responsibility character trait winner. We are so proud of all of them and appreciate their hard work!

Don't want to cook tonight? Come out to McDonald's in Zebulon and support EWA PTA!

Mrs. Norris and Mrs. LuMaye's class building gingerbread houses!

The National Art Honor Society enjoyed "teaching their teachers" in Wednesday's art activity. They were indeed the experts in the room. Special thanks to Ms. Wade for inspiring her students to lead this activity

Happy Birthday to EWA staff born in December!
Thanks to Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q in Zebulon for our lunch

Good morning EWA families.
An update on the situation from yesterday.
Last night ZPD confirmed the possible threat to EWA was NOT credible, with the possibility some key details were exaggerated as the story spread. We are grateful to the ZPD for their fast intervention in this matter. Out of an abundance of caution, we have asked ZPD to be on campus today and we will continue to go through our safety protocols. We ask our families to proceed as normal through carpool, as any disruption to the process will cause confusion and increase the chance of an accident.
Thank you for your continued support of EWA and we look forward to a joyous holiday break.

Last Friday 7th Graders worked on Science and math standards while building teamwork skills. We made 3D and 2D ornaments, read to elementary students, made holiday cards for the elderly at a local assisted living center, made paper circuit pictures that light up, and painted rocks for our community rock garden. The students did such a great job in all of these activities.

Fourth grade started off our holiday week with a candy cane experiment and several stem activities! They built with gum drops and created a jingle bell maze!
