We continued our celebration of teachers and staff today with lunch and a sweet treat from the EWA Booster Club! Ms. Pridgen’s first grade class celebrated Cinco de Mayo today by learning about Mexico’s victory over the French! Students got to try chips and salsa and then completed a writing response about their thoughts on the new food! They finished up their lesson by learning the La Bomba song and dance. 💃

All week we'll be celebrating our teachers and staff for all the work they do to help our students. Whether they are teaching in the classroom, providing behind-the-scenes support, or giving a "hello" to a student in the hallway, they are a big part of what makes EWA the excellent school it is.

Delay extended until at least 3:30pm.
Thanks for your cooperation and patience
